The judicial evolution of same-sex marriage in Mexico has been crucial for the recognition of rights. Since the first favorable ruling in 2015, along with subsequent constitutional and legal reforms, Mexican courts have established important precedents. These changes have not only allowed for the legalization of marriage between same-sex individuals but have also promoted greater inclusion and equity in the realm of civil and human rights in the country.
